Review user activity
The User Activity Log shows the sign-ins and actions recorded for users, with a summary report at the top. Use it to check who has been active and to look into failed actions.
Before you start
- You need the Administrator user permission.
Open the User Activity Log
- Select the apps button in the top bar, then select Admin.
- Select User Activity Log.
You can also open it from Admin IT → User Activity Log in the navigation.
Filter the activity
- In Select User, choose one user, or leave All users selected.
- In From and To, choose a date range.
- In Search, type a word to match.
The report and the table update after each change.
Read the report
The Combined Report at the top summarises the activity that matches your filters:
| Item | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Last Login : | When the selected users last signed in. |
| Sign-in count | How many sign-ins were recorded. |
| Apps In View : | How many ScoutIT AI apps appear in the results. |
| Success / Failure : | How many actions succeeded and how many failed. |
| Recent Activity | The latest activities, with their Timestamp. |
Read the activity table
Each row is one recorded activity:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| User | The user's email address. |
| App | The ScoutIT AI app where the activity happened. |
| Activity | What the user did. |
| Route / Resource | The page or item the activity affected. |
| Outcome | Whether it succeeded, with a status code where one was recorded. |
| Timestamp | When it happened. |
- Select the App, Activity, Outcome or Timestamp heading to sort by that column. Select it again to reverse the order.
- Use Rows to choose how many rows appear on each page.
- Use the arrows and page numbers below the table to move between pages.
Troubleshooting
- No user activity records found. means nothing matches your filters. Widen the date range, clear Search, or choose All users.
