Agentic Workflow

A workflow combines several agents to complete a multi-step job. The Agentic Workflow screen, headed Agent Workflows, lists your workflows and their status.

Open the Agentic Workflow screen​

  1. In AI Studio, open the Agent Ops menu.
  2. Select Agentic Workflow.

What you see​

  • The count next to the heading shows how many workflows are listed.
  • Select List view or Tile view to change the layout. List view is the default.
  • Type in Search workflows... to filter the list.
  • Select Create Workflow to build a new workflow. See Create a workflow.
  • Select a workflow's name to edit it. See Edit a workflow.

List view​

ColumnWhat it shows
NameThe workflow's name.
StatusDraft, Activating, Active or Stopped.
ModelThe model the workflow uses.
TypeHow the agents run: sequential, parallel, supervisor or loop.
AgentsThe agents in the workflow.
UpdatedWhen it was last changed.
ModeManual or Automated, depending on how it was built.
ActionsThe row menu.

While a workflow is activating, the list refreshes itself until activation finishes.

Activate a workflow​

  1. Open the Actions menu on the workflow's row.
  2. Select Activate workflow.

The message Workflow Activation in Progress. This might take 1-2 minutes. appears. The menu shows Activation in progress until the workflow is Active.

Stop a workflow​

  1. Open the Actions menu on the workflow's row.
  2. Select Stop workflow.
  3. In the Stop workflow? dialog, select Stop workflow.

Users can't chat with a stopped workflow. The message Workflow stopped successfully. appears.

Delete a workflow​

  1. Open the Actions menu on the workflow's row.
  2. Select Delete workflow.
  3. In the Delete workflow? dialog, select Delete workflow. This can't be undone.

Troubleshooting​

  • No workflows match your search. clear or change your search text.
  • No workflows found: there are no workflows yet. Select Create Workflow.
  • Chat is greyed out with Chat available after activation: activate the workflow first.
