Projects in Agent Chat
Use the Projects panel in Agent Chat to find a project and open it without leaving the chat screen. A project groups related conversations and gives them shared instructions, knowledge files and tasks.
Open the Projects panel
- In AI Studio, open the Agent Ops menu and select Agent Chat.
- On the side rail, select Projects.
The panel heading shows Projects and how many projects you have. While the list loads, you see Loading projects….
When you are already inside a project, Projects on the rail takes you back to the list.
Find a project
- Type in Search projects… to narrow the list by name.
- Use the sort menu to show Newest, Oldest, Name A–Z or Name Z–A first.
- To filter by tag, use the tag filter. It appears when your account has tags.
- Select Tile view or List view to change the layout. List view is the default.
Each project shows its name and description, its dates, its tags, its status, and how many chats and files it holds. An inactive project is marked Inactive.
Select a project to open it. See Work in a project.
Create a project
- In the Projects panel, select New Project.
- Fill in the dialog and select Create project.
For each field in the dialog, see Manage projects.
Manage a project
If you can change a project, its row has an actions menu (Actions for followed by the project name). The menu shows only the actions you are allowed to use:
- Edit project: change the project's details.
- Create agent: create an agent from the project.
- Delete project: delete the project.
When you select Delete project, the row asks Delete project? Select Delete to confirm, or No to keep the project.
