Edit or delete a swarm

Change a swarm's name, description, instructions or agents, or remove the swarm.

Edit a swarm​

  1. On the Swarm Builder screen, open the Actions menu on the swarm's row.
  2. Select Edit swarm. The Edit Swarm page opens. Status and Created are shown but can't be changed.
  3. Change Swarm Name, Description or Instructions as needed.
  4. Under Select Agents, change which agents are selected. A swarm needs between two and five agents.
  5. Select Update Swarm.

The message Swarm "name" updated. appears.

Delete a swarm​

  1. On the Swarm Builder screen, open the Actions menu on the swarm's row.
  2. Select Delete swarm.
  3. In the Delete swarm? dialog, select Delete swarm. This can't be undone.

The message Swarm deleted. appears.

Deleting a swarm doesn't delete its agents. They stay where they are and can be added to other swarms.

Troubleshooting​

  • You can't delete an agent while it belongs to a swarm. Remove the agent from the swarm first, or delete the swarm.
  • The same form messages as creating a swarm apply. See Create a swarm.
