Manage your chats

Keep your conversations organised in Agent Chat.

Find a chat​

  1. In Agent Chat, select Chats on the rail.
  2. Type in Search… to filter your chats.
  3. Choose a sort order: Newest, Oldest, Name A–Z or Name Z–A.
  4. Optional: open the filter and select Pinned only, or pick projects under Filter by project.

You can also use Search chats… on the rail.

Pin a chat​

  1. Open the Chat actions menu on the chat.
  2. Select Pin Conversation.

Pinned chats appear under Pinned. To unpin, select Unpin Conversation.

Rename a chat​

  1. Open the Chat actions menu on the chat.
  2. Select Rename chat.
  3. In Chat name, enter a new name of up to 120 characters.
  4. Select Rename.

Move a chat to a project​

  1. Open the Chat actions menu on the chat.
  2. Select Move to project.
  3. In the Move chat to project dialog, pick the project.
  4. Select Move chat.

The message Chat moved to project. appears. To take a chat out of its project, select Remove from project.

Delete a chat​

  1. Open the Chat actions menu on the chat.
  2. Select Delete Chat.
  3. At Delete chat?, select Delete.

Delete several chats​

  1. In the Chats panel, tick the chats you want to delete.
  2. Select Delete. The button shows how many chats are selected.
  3. In the Delete selected chats? dialog, select Delete.

Deleted chats are removed permanently. This can't be undone.

Troubleshooting​

  • No chats yet. Start one to see it here. you have no conversations yet. Select New chat.
  • No projects yet. create a project first, then move the chat into it.
  • Enter a name for this chat. the name can't be empty.
  • That project is no longer available. pick another project.
  • Could not move the chat. Please try again. or Could not rename the chat. Please try again. try again.
