Share an agent
Share an agent to give a user in another organisation their own copy of it. They receive it as a draft in their workspace.
Before you start
- Only the agent's creator can share it.
- The person you share with must already have a ScoutIT AI user in another account. To share with people in your own account, change the agent's visibility instead. See Edit an agent.
Share an agent
- Open the share dialog in one of these ways:
- On the Agents screen, open the agent's Actions menu and select Share Agent.
- On the agent details page, open the Actions menu and select Share.
- In Email, enter the address of the person to share with.
- Under Include MCP connectors as blueprints, tick the connectors to include. All of them are ticked to start with.
- Select Share.
The Already shared with list shows who has the agent already. If nobody does, you see This agent hasn't been shared yet.
What happens next
A message confirms who you shared with. The recipient gets a private draft copy of the agent. Connectors you included arrive as blueprints, without your credentials.
The dialog stays open, so you can share with someone else straight away. Select Cancel or Close when you're done.
On the Agents screen, a Shared button next to the agent's name shows how many people it is shared with.
Troubleshooting
- Already shared with this user. the person already has this agent.
- Enter a valid email address. check the address.
- No MCP connectors are attached to this agent, so none will be included. this is expected for an agent with no connectors. You can still share it.
- Connectors could not be loaded. select Retry. To share without them, tick Share anyway, without connector blueprints.
- Connectors have not loaded yet. Retry, or choose to share without them. wait for the connectors to load, select Retry, or tick Share anyway, without connector blueprints.
- If you're told the user is in your account, share the agent by changing its visibility instead.
- If you're told no user has that email, check the address with the person you're sharing with.
