Build custom dashboards

Use Dashboard Builder to make your own dashboards from live data. Each dashboard holds widgets that call a tool on one of your MCP connectors and show the result as a chart, a table or the raw response. This page covers the dashboards themselves. To add widgets, see Add dashboard widgets.

To open the screen, go to Agent Ops → Dashboard Builder. The screen is titled Custom Dashboard.

Before you start

Widgets read data through MCP connectors, so you need at least one connector set up before you can add a widget.

Create a dashboard

  1. Select Add New Dashboard. If you already have dashboards, select + at the end of the dashboard tabs.
  2. In Dashboard name, enter a name. The name can be up to 80 characters.
  3. Under Scope, choose who can see the dashboard:
    • User — visible only to you
    • Account — visible to everyone in your account
  4. If you chose Account, choose what others can do under Access:
    • Read — others can view and run, but not modify
    • Full — others can edit and delete like the owner
  5. Select Save.

The new dashboard opens in its own tab.

Switch between dashboards

Each dashboard has a tab at the top of the screen. Select a tab to open that dashboard. The tab also shows:

  • ★ on your default dashboard.
  • A chip that shows who can see the dashboard: Private, Shared · Read or Shared. Point at the chip for a full description.

Rename a dashboard or set it as default

  1. On the dashboard's tab, open the actions menu (⋮).
  2. Select Rename dashboard or Set as default.
  3. If you're renaming, enter the new name and select Save.

On a shared dashboard that you don't own, the menu also shows the Owner.

Change who can see a dashboard

Only the owner of a dashboard can change who can see it.

  1. On the dashboard's tab, open the actions menu (⋮) and select Change access.
  2. Choose the Scope, and the Access if the scope is Account.
  3. Select Save access.

Delete a dashboard

  1. On the dashboard's tab, open the actions menu (⋮) and select Delete dashboard.
  2. In the Delete dashboard? window, select Delete.

The dashboard and all its widgets are permanently removed. This can't be undone. If it was your default dashboard, another dashboard becomes the default.

Organise widgets

Select Organize Widgets to lay the widgets out so they fit neatly: tables take a full row and charts sit two to a row. Select it again to go back. This layout isn't saved. You can also drag the corner of a widget to resize it for the current view.
