The Drifter™

The Drifter™ watches for drift in the RPI Score of an application or location. It looks at how the RPI deductions spread over time and flags statistical anomalies, so you know things are going wrong before the score takes a hit.

To open the screen, go to AnalyzeIT → The Drifter™.

Before you start

  • The application or location you want to check must already be monitored by ScoutIT AI.
  • If you're new to RPI, read What is RPI? first.

Run a drift analysis

  1. In the Monitor RPI drift panel, under Select analysis type, choose Applications or Locations.
  2. Open Select application (or Select location) and choose the item you want to check.
  3. Select Monitor RPI drift.

While the analysis runs, the button shows Analysing drift… and the results area shows a timer.

What happens next

The Analysis Results panel shows a Drift report for your selection:

  • A tag showing whether you analysed an application or a location.
  • The written analysis, sometimes under an Analytical Summary heading.
  • A chart of the RPI deductions distribution, when one is available.

Use the icons at the top right of the result to rate, copy, email, share or download it. See Work with analysis results.

To run a new analysis, change your selection and select Monitor RPI drift again. The new result replaces the old one.

See past analyses

Select History to open Drifter History. See Review analysis history.

Troubleshooting

  • The results area shows an error. The analysis couldn't finish. Try again. If it keeps failing, contact support.
  • The item you want isn't in the list. Check that you chose the right analysis type. Applications and locations have separate lists.
