The Situation™
The Situation™ analyses your Broadcom DX-O₂ alarm data. It correlates events across several dimensions, finds recurring alarm patterns, and recommends custom situation definitions for DX-O₂. Each recommendation comes with a statistical significance score. Good situation templates can prevent escalations and improve operational efficiency.
To open the screen, go to AnalyzeIT → The Situation™.
Get situation recommendations
- In the DX-O₂ Alarm Analysis section, select Get Situations.
- Wait while the response streams in. The button shows Streaming…, and the Analysis Results panel shows Streaming live response….
You don't need to choose an application or location. The Situation™ scans recent alarms for you.
What happens next
The Analysis Results panel fills in as the response arrives. When it finishes, it shows the full analysis with the candidate situation templates.
Use the icons on the result to rate, copy, email, share or download it. See Work with analysis results.

Select History to open Situation History. See Review analysis history.
Troubleshooting
- You see "Connection to the situation stream was lost." The response stopped before it finished. Select Get Situations again.
- The analysis keeps failing. Contact support.
