Manage agent conversations

The Recents list on an agent's chat screen holds your conversations with that agent. This page shows you how to find, rename, move and delete them.

Before you start​

Open the agent's chat screen. See Chat with an agent.

Open a conversation​

  1. Under Recents, select the conversation.

The conversation opens in the Conversation console and is highlighted in the list. If you have no conversations with the agent yet, the list reads No conversations.

Each row starts with a small symbol that shows whether the conversation belongs to a project, an agent or a model. Point at the symbol to see which.

Search your conversations​

  1. Select Search chats.
  2. Type part of a conversation's title. The list narrows as you type.

Rename a conversation​

  1. Point at the conversation and select Chat actions (the three dots).
  2. Select Rename chat.
  3. Type the new title. Titles can be up to 80 characters.
  4. Press Enter to save, or press Escape to cancel.

Move a conversation to a project​

This option appears only on accounts that have the Projects tab.

  1. Point at the conversation and select Chat actions.
  2. Select Move to project.
  3. In Move chat to project, select a project, or No project to take the chat out of its project.
  4. Select Move chat.

A confirmation shows at the top of the screen. If you have no projects yet, the dialog reads No projects yet. Create a project to organise your chats, then move this chat into it. See Manage projects.

Delete a conversation​

  1. Point at the conversation and select Chat actions.
  2. Select Delete chat. The row asks Delete chat?
  3. Select Delete to confirm, or Cancel to keep it.

If you delete the conversation that is open, the screen starts a new chat.
