Browse the org chart

The Org Chart tab shows every agent published to your account as a card, with each agent's team below it. Use it to find the right agent and start a chat. It is the tab Mission Control opens on.

Read a card

Each card shows the agent's picture or initials, its name, and its role and department when they are set. Along the top of a card you'll find:

  • A governance marker. A coloured symbol that shows how the agent was last assessed. See Check an agent's governance.
  • Governance details. The information button next to the marker opens the full assessment.
  • Presentation settings. The gear appears when you point at a card. It opens the Edit agent dialog. See Edit how an agent looks.

When several agents sit at the top level, they appear under a card called All agents, which reads Every published agent.

A greyed-out card is an agent that is switched off. Pointing at it shows Agent is inactive in Mission Control. You can't open a chat with an inactive agent.

Start a chat with an agent

  1. Find the agent's card.
  2. Select the card.

The agent's chat screen opens. See Chat with an agent.

Open and close a team

A card with a team below it has a badge that reads, for example, 3 agents.

  1. Select the badge to show the agents who work with that agent.
  2. Select the badge again to hide them.

You can open as many teams as you like. To close every team at once, select Collapse all child agents in the header. This button appears only when a team is open, a search is in progress or a team is highlighted.

The hint in the header changes as you go. It starts as Click a badge like this to see who works with someone. Once a team is open, it reads Open as many groups as you like — drag to move it, pinch to zoom.

The first time you open the tab, a How it works note explains the badges. Select Got it to dismiss it.

Find an agent

  1. Select Search agents in the header.
  2. Type part of an agent's name, role or department. Matching cards stay bright and the others dim.
  3. Press Enter to open the teams that lead to the first match and clear the search.
  4. Press Escape to clear the search without moving.

Filter by tag

The tag filter appears when at least one agent has a tag.

  1. Select All tags in the header.
  2. Tick one or more tags. The chart updates as you tick. Each tag shows how many agents carry it.
  3. To find agents with no tag, tick Untagged agents.
  4. To remove the filter, select Clear.

To create, rename or delete tags, select Manage tags at the bottom of the menu.

Highlight a team

The legend under the chart reads Tap a colour to highlight a team, followed by one coloured button per team.

  1. Select a team's button to highlight that team.
  2. Select it again to turn the highlight off.

The legend also shows how many agents are on screen out of the total, for example 14 of 62 agents on screen.

Zoom and move the chart

The zoom controls sit in the corner of the chart:

  • Zoom out and Zoom in change the size. The current level shows between them as a percentage.
  • Fit to screen fits the whole chart in the view.
  • Actual size shows the chart at 100%.

Drag the chart to move it. On a touch screen, pinch to zoom.

Troubleshooting

  • The tab says No agents published to this account. Nothing has been published to Mission Control yet. Select Refresh after an agent is published. If you don't manage agents, ask an account administrator to publish one.
  • The tab says Mission Control is temporarily unavailable. Select Retry. If it keeps happening, contact support.
