My Dashboard
My Dashboard draws one chart per monitoring point for the metric you pick. Use it to compare how the same application behaves from different locations, or to look closely at a short time window.
Before you start
- Open MonitorIT → My Dashboard.
- You need at least one monitoring point. See Manage monitoring points.
Build your charts
- In Application, choose an application, or keep All Applications. The list of monitoring points updates to match.
- Select Monitoring Points to open the list.
- Select or clear the monitoring points you want. Use Select all to select or clear them all at once.
- In Metric, choose Latency, Data Loss or Data Jitter. The default is Latency.
- In Time Range, choose a window from Last 1 hour to Last 24 hours. The default is Last 1 hour.
The charts reload automatically each time you change a filter.
Read the charts
- Each card is titled with the monitoring point name and its location.
- The line under the title shows the number of samples and the highest value in the window, for example the maximum latency.
- Point to the line to see the value at a point in time.
While a chart loads you see Fetching data….
The Monitoring Points button shows how many are selected: All, a number such as "3 selected", or None selected.
Troubleshooting
- Select one or more monitoring points to load charts. No monitoring points are selected. Open Monitoring Points and select at least one.
- No data in window. That monitoring point has no data for the metric in the time range. Choose a longer Time Range.
- No monitoring points. The chosen application has no monitoring points. Choose another application, or add monitoring points in Manage monitoring points.
- A card shows error. The chart couldn't load. Change a filter to reload it. If it keeps failing, contact support.
